International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

The holiday season is a particularly difficult time for survivors of suicide loss.  To help, we are bringing the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)’s International Survivors of Suicide Loss day here to Sonora on Saturday, November 18th.  This day was created in 1999 by the U.S. Senate, and every year thousands of suicide loss survivors around the world participate in Survivor Day events to share their experiences, gain insight, and find comfort in the knowledge that they are not alone.  You can register here:

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is an event in which survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experiences.

Non-loss survivors are welcome to attend as well.
